Students make Japanese cakes while receiving instructions from professional confectioners.
Students use traditional Japanese paper to make Japanese-style paper lamps.
Students learn the traditional etiquette and form of Japanese Tea Ceremonies from their professor, and deepen their understanding through actual participation in a Tea Ceremony.
As part of the seminars the students participate in, the students visit markets within Kyoto city, and conduct interview studies.
The students visited the ancient capital in Nara, spending the day getting in touch with the ancient culture of Japan.
